Tung wakes one morning to find his girlfriend has abandoned him, leaving only a break-up note stuck to his forehead. While reeling from this turn of events, Tung takes a job at a copy shop, printing examination materials for nearby cram schools. His existence seems humdrum, bound to remain static for the rest of his life, until he finds a precious drawing of a sheep on a document. This is the work of a teaching assistant named Yang, a tomboyish eccentric biding her time until she can find a comfortable career as an illustrator. Despite still harboring feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Tung impulsively draws a wolf onto the exam and returns it to her. Coming together in their time of need, the two manage to find common ground despite their ideological differences and the weight of their combined pasts.
