Henan Bangzi Opera was originally sung in Henan local dialects with “bangzi” instruments. It was brought to Taiwan by the immigrants coming from China in 1949, and the most famous Henan Bangzi Opera troupe at the time was “Feima Yuju Theatre” which was organized by the Marine Corps.
